About me:
My name is Linus Marray-Woods and I am a 'wellbeing training provider' working within the business, education and community sectors and I am based in King's Lynn, Norfolk. I am also a registered Running Coach with UK Athletics and West Norfolk Borough Council / Active Norfolk. Running is something that fills my life with joy, laughter and challenges! Anyone can learn to run with the right support and guidance and this is what I aim to impart to all those coming to my running groups. I believe that learning to run is all about sharing experiences, supporting each other, assisting with individual needs and achieving personal goals in a welcoming, safe and non-threatening environment. This is the ethos around which each running group is based.

News about SchoolRun - What's it all about?

If you have never run before or have not done so for a long time then these are the groups for you. Come along and learn to run in a safe, warm and welcoming environment with all the support and advice you need in abundance. There is also plenty of laughter and fun to be had as we work together and learn the joys and benefits of running. You can join a group at anytime and the groups are suitable for all, there are no barriers stopping anyone from joining. Each session consists of a mixture of general exercise/stretches and running. The groups are run on a weekly basis and cost £3 per session. They are perfectly timed to fit in with school and nursery drop off times. Parents, carers, grandparents and local residents are all welcome. So, don't get bogged down with the daily chores, instead take an hour out for yourself and have fun getting fit and learning to run. You can attend any of the running groups, as well as or instead of your local one, you can also come to as many weekly sessions as you like. Each group follows the same routine so they are easily interchangeable. So SchoolRun has been designed to completely fit in with everyday life, making it a lot easier to take some 'time out' for you and have fun getting fit.
